Teri "toes-ting" the feet lakeside.....
....and looky what I found 1/2 mi. north of Teri on a brief hike--a 2000 ft grassy air strip with a Cessna 172 doing short field, touch and go's..
..and if you mess it up, you are bubbles-up in Lake Texoma...
Flip Flops Meets Airplane on Day 2....now that was a fast journey....
Heading north tomorrow to Oklahoma City, then a 270 heading direct to Amarillo, where we will stop at a Texas Welcome Center and "boondock" (no hookups) for the night. You know you are in a darn big state when you leave in the morning, exit the state, and then reenter it in the evening. Think of Oklahoma as the arm hair and the Texas panhandle as the arm.
300 miles to our next destination...or 30 gals. of chocolate gas....or $120 lighter upon arrival-- perhaps less weight will increase fuel mileage...
